The Practice will only be open for pre-booked flu appointments on the following dates:

This means there will be no telephone or emergency service.  All calls and on the day contacts will be routed to NHS24. 

SMEARS - Please don’t ignore your next smear invite.  If you missed your last smear test, contact us to find a time that suits you.  All women aged 25-64 across Scotland are invited to have a cervical screening test every three years from age 25-49 and every five years from age 50-64.

We are supported by a midwife, who visits our surgery three times a week for Antenatal Care Clinics.

Community Nurses

The aims of the District Nursing Service are to:

  • Assist the safe transfer of patients from hospital to their home setting.
  • Provide care to patients who are unable to independently manage their health care needs so preventing hospital or care home admission where possible.
  • Support each person to obtain, regain or maintain their optimum state of health and independence and quality of life within the scope of any physical, psychological or social limitation.

This team can help you if you are unable to come to the surgery for your dressings, bloods, elderly screening check or flu injection and can help refer you onto other services such as Chiropody or Occupational Health Department where necessary.

Health Visitors

Their role is to help support and advise families with children under five years old and elderly patients.
