There are times set aside each day
when a Doctor or nurse is available
to
consult with you on the phone.

Receptionist
will help you find a suitable time
when the Doctor you want is free to
talk
to you.
We aim to offer a routine telephone
consultation with a GP or Practice
Nurse
within two working days, or with
a named GP or Practice Nurse within
three
working days.
If you ask to speak to a Doctor in
an emergency we aim to put you
through to

Urgent
Appointments
If you need an urgent appointment
you will be seen that day but not
necessarily by your own Doctor.
Please let the receptionist know you
need to be seen urgently and give
the reason where possible to help us
assess and prioritise how quickly
you need to be seen. You will be
added into the Doctor's surgery if
there are no available appointments.
Hospital
Appointments
If you have been referred to
hospital and are anxious to know
when you will
be seen or reviewed, contact
Raigmore Hospital directly on
704000, or check
your hospital letter or appointment
card for a department telephone
number.
Checking
Your Results
If your Doctor has organised a
test(s) for you then it is your
responsibility to contact the
Practice for the results. It is not
possible for us to phone your result
to you routinely.
The Doctor will have checked your
results and have marked on these
what the
staff should do next:
- Give you the
result where this is marked
normal by your Doctor
- Ask you to
contact him/her at a telephone
time for consultation
about your result
- Ask you to
make a return appointment with
him/her or the nurse
When you telephone
please ask the Receptionist for
Enquiries. This is the
administration person who will check
these details for you. Please try
and
phone for test results between 2.00
pm - 5.00 pm on our main number
715999.
